As curator of an organization that offers Meteorites, Fossils, Minerals and Artifacts, I am proud to present the Nature’s Vault web site. It was built as a better way to reach clients, to display specimens, scientific information and a portfolio of my Expeditions & Adventures for you to enjoy. Most specimens we offer are meteorites from The Hupé Collection of meteorites. This world renowned private collection was started by my brother Adam and me in the 1990s and has continued to grow every year since then.

We have dedicated our lives to the collection, study and preservation of all of the natural history items we curate and offer for sale. We work in cooperation with some of the world’s preeminent scientists analyzing mostly meteorites, demonstrating that the private sector can work in collaboration with the scientific community.

I was born in Washington state, however spent several of my younger years in Virginia. While there I found my first arrowhead and have been hooked ever since. At the age of thirteen in Washington, I became a certified scuba diver in the frigid waters of Puget Sound. Although I have hunted for fossils on land most of my life, I was first introduced to underwater fossil hunting when I moved to Florida in 2004. Diving in these ominous black waters can be challenging while encountering alligators, snakes and other dangers.

I became a serious meteorite hunter in 2001 and now hunt for these celestial objects worldwide, especially if a new meteorite fall occurs. I am among the first to jump on an airplane and rush to recover these fresh stones that fall from the sky when the Earth crosses path with an asteroid or small object in space. The thrill of these adventures keeps me hunting for ancient objects waiting to be discovered!
