On an October 2002 expedition back to a remote village in the Sahara Desert , Greg Hupé
presented Chief Amou (seated right) an August 2002 issue of Meteorite Magazine. Greg had
taken a photo of the chief’s daughter during his April 2002 visit and used it in his
article published in the August 2002 issue. Chief Amou was so thrilled to see his
daughter in the publication that he shared it with other members of this friendly
Berber group. This shows the reaching effect Meteorite Magazine has even in the most
remote places on Earth.
